The constitution making process is on top gear and like many other Kalenjin I expected you to take an informed position.We have expected you to come out and articulate our position regarding devolution, resources and legislation. In case you don't know many Kalenjin are opposed to the following:

1. A constitution that will dismantle Rift Valley as we know it today.

2. Taxation and redistribution of revenue as suggested in the harmonized draft.

3. Retention of the provincial administration.

4. Joining and working with PNU without our consent.

A devolved government to a Kalenjin include a region called Rift Valley under a governor, county councils and districts.We need to retain 60% of taxes collected in Rift valley, manage our resources and legislate.

Folks, if you are bought or sold regarding the foregoing you will be rejected and the community will suffer because of your shortsightedness.

We are quite aware of PNU schemes to dominate us politically and economically and expect you to stand for us.It is time to stand and be counted. Yes, it is time to abstain from playing Judas. It is time to be heroes!

We know ODM's position on the constitution- accept the mongrel as it is  and amend it later.That is a big gamble. Given the division and suspicion in the party now how does anyone sane expect it to win over two thirds of MPs to effect amendments in future?The future is now and anyone thinking of change in future is deluding himself.

ODM will ever rush to embrace anything on the table while PNU will ever be calculating and will always fight for something that will empower their people economically and politically at the expense of all other Kenyans.

What is at stake is power- economic and political power.Are you aware of this or you are riding on Mephistopheles' s' back to hell!
